Meet Casper, a charming 10-year-old, 12-pound male Yorkshire Terrier mix who is truly "aged to perfection"! Casper is a joyful and energetic fellow who loves to play with his toys and will happily tag along wherever you go. He has a big heart and a zest for life that makes it hard to believe he's battling lymphoma.

Casper is currently undergoing treatment at a specialist in Monterey. We're committed to giving him the best possible care, and his prognosis looks promising with ongoing treatment. If you're willing to continue bringing him to his appointments in Monterey post-adoption, we will cover the full cost of his remaining treatment, which is approximately 288 days.

Ideal Home

Casper is very friendly and social, but he is working on resource guarding with both people and other dogs. While he does well with his current foster sibling, he would likely thrive as the only dog in the home, where he doesn't have to share his treasures. He gets along wonderfully with cats and would be a great addition to a household with feline friends.

Ongoing Health

Casper has been diagnosed with lymphoma and is currently undergoing treatment. POMDR will cover the cost of his ongoing treatment for approximately 288 days, provided adopters continue with his appointments in Monterey.

Training & Support

Casper is working on his resource guarding, so a patient and understanding approach will be key to his continued success. He would benefit from an environment where he can have his own space and toys without the need to compete.
