Benson

Meet Benson, a sweet and quiet boy who has overcome a lot! Benson was hit by a car in Texas and, after his leg amputation, has learned that humans can mean good things, like treats and a comfy spot indoors. He's a gentle soul who enjoys observing life and your company without being overly demanding. True to his Great Pyrenees heritage, Benson is more of an observer than a clingy companion, happy to hang out in the same room and keep an eye on things.

Ideal Home

Benson would thrive in a calm, low-traffic home. He'd do best with children over 12 who understand how to give dogs space and boundaries. Loud, energetic children might be overwhelming for him.

Ongoing Health

Benson is a tripod and his leg was amputated. To help keep him comfortable long-term, a home with minimal stairs is preferred.

Training & Support

Benson is potty trained and rides beautifully in the car. He's also been a perfect gentleman during vet visits and handling. He's a lower-energy guy who enjoys a slower pace of life.
