Vlad

Vlad is an 8-year-old Schnauzer mix who weighs 16 lbs. He came to us as a stray from an Alabama shelter and has adapted remarkably well to his new environment. Vlad is a distinguished gentleman who is grateful to be safe and cared for. He has mastered stairs, potty training, walking on a leash, and even enjoyed his first visit to the dog park. He sleeps soundly through the night on a dog bed in his foster's room and is comfortable being left to roam the house when they are away. Vlad has also shown he can be a good boy by chewing his first bone and meeting new people with enthusiasm!

Ideal Home

Vlad would do well in a home without children under the age of six.

Ongoing Health

Vlad is a senior dog and is in good health.

Training & Support

Vlad is working on taking treats more politely and not growling when being picked up. He's not a good jumper, so he needs to be picked up to get on furniture. He's also starting to give kisses, so there's hope for more affection!
