Sussy is an approximately 3-year-old Labrador mix weighing around 60 pounds. She was rescued from the streets of Houston, Texas, and is now looking for the loving forever home she truly deserves. Ideal Home
Families that enjoy outdoor activities, a home with a fenced backyard, and families with an open conscience about the rescue of street animals and their need for protection and education. A home with experience in dog behavior and training background, and high tolerance and patience for rescued puppies.
Ongoing Health
Sussy has received the following treatments: Spay/Neuter, DHPPI Vaccine, Rabies Vaccine, Bordetella Vaccine, Deworming, Heartworm test Negative Certificate, and a Health Certificate. She also has a Vaccines booklet.
Training & Support
Sussy is not house-trained. The rescue team invests significant time and effort into the rehabilitation of rescued pets, including their emotional and physical well-being, which makes house-training individual pets challenging. They ask for understanding and patience in this area.

- A home check (in-person or virtual) will be conducted.
- A virtual meet-and-greet with the dog and foster home will be arranged.
- A trial adoption period will be offered with clear instructions for integration.
Transportation
Sussy is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas. She is available for transport to the East Coast and the Pacific Northwest if adopted. A transport fee of $400.00 applies, paid by the adopter prior to the pet's departure.
