Lucky 1, affectionately known as "Lucky Duck," is an approximately 11-year-old, 78-pound bundle of love with a gentle giant's heart. Rescued from Texas, Lucky has a past that's a bit of a mystery, but her present is filled with a desire for connection and affection. She knows and responds to her name immediately and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children. While she loves people, she can be a bit shy around newcomers, so patience and a calm introduction will be key to helping her blossom. Lucky thrives on companionship and would be happiest with someone who is home often, as she truly deserves all the attention and love to make up for the unknowns of her early years. Her ideal home includes a securely fenced yard and a kind, gentle soul who can help her feel comfortable and secure in her new environment.
