Sophie

Meet Sophie! This 5-year-old, 50 lb pittie mix is the snuggliest soul you'll ever love. Her heart is bigger than her whole body, and despite life's challenges, she's maintained her sweetness and capacity for deep, unconditional love for people. Sophie is pure love wrapped in fur, and her favorite place is right beside you, or even better, on you, melting into your lap like a living, breathing weighted blanket. She doesn't just want to be near you; she wants to be with you. Sophie is endlessly affectionate, deeply loyal, and greets everyone she meets with pure joy – she truly has never met a stranger! Her eyes light up for car rides, squeaky toys, and all the attention you can give her.

Ideal Home

Sophie would thrive in a home where she can be your constant companion. She's happy to be an only dog or could do well with playful dogs her size or smaller. She gets so excited doing zoomies in the yard wanting to play. A long lead is recommended for yard time as Sophie can jump quite high.

Ongoing Health

Sophie is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and is heartworm and tick-borne disease negative. She has been on preventatives.

Training & Support

Sophie is housebroken and crate trained, and she does not experience separation anxiety when left alone. She is dog selective and seems to do best with social dogs her size or smaller.
