Poppy Flower the MINI LAB is a 10-month-old, 35-pound pittie mix with an infectious zest for life! He loves to zoom around the yard, play with his foster sisters, and enjoy the sunshine. Poppy's best physical features are his amazing airplane ears, a lucky white-speckled foot, tuxedo markings, and a short waggy tail that perfectly complements his big doggy grin. He's a rescue dog, so while we believe he's around 10 months old and about 35 lbs, his breed and exact age are a mystery. Poppy is quiet and calm in his pen while his foster mom works but can't wait to get out and play in the grass afterward. He's done great with all kinds of PNW weather, unfazed by gloom, snow, or mud!
Ideal Home
Poppy loves to follow his people around and supervise, so a home where he can be part of the family activities would be wonderful. He is working on being comfortable with new things, people, and animals, but with calm introductions, he tends to either ignore them or inspect them and move along.

Poppy is believed to be a healthy young pup.
Training & Support
Poppy is very food-motivated, making him a great candidate for training! He loves snacks and treats, and one of his favorite games is trying new snacks. He enjoys tug-of-war and has learned to sit and lay down. He's even starting to learn tricks like pressing buttons, though they can be a little scary for him right now!

Poppy is currently fostered in Enumclaw, WA. We offer nationwide transport through our rescue-run, USDA-certified transport system, ensuring safe and comfortable travel with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You can track their journey in real-time with photo updates and connect with other adopters on a private Facebook event page. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
