Daisy Sue is a 2-year-old, spayed female Pointer/Australian Cattle dog mix who weighs about 35 pounds. She's a 35-lb bundle of personality who brings joy, playfulness, and sweetness everywhere she goes. With her adorable zoomies, affectionate cuddles, and happy-go-lucky love of other dogs, Daisy is the kind of pup who will make every day brighter. She was brought to a county shelter and ended up on a euthanasia list before our rescue stepped in to give her a second chance.
Ideal Home
Daisy would thrive in a home that offers another friendly dog for companionship (strongly preferred), an active lifestyle with regular exercise or a yard, and children 10 years or older who understand how to respect a shy dog. She can be left loose in the house when alone and is not destructive, but she does think shoes are fascinating, so make sure they are picked up. She would do best in a calm home with a predictable routine rather than a busy household with lots of visitors.
Ongoing Health
Daisy is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
Daisy is fully house-trained with zero accidents and walks beautifully on leash, showing no reactivity to dogs, runners, or people. She is crate-trained and sleeps in her crate at night, and she has no issues with resource guarding, happily sharing toys and treats. She is very food-motivated, which makes training easier and fun. Daisy can be shy when meeting new people, especially men, and may bark or keep her distance at first. With patience, gentle voices, and a little space, she warms up and reveals her affectionate, cuddly nature.
