Helen

Helen is a very sweet girl, born in July 2010 and weighing around 35 lbs. She's a bundle of energy and loves to run around, making her the perfect companion for someone with an active lifestyle. While she's a bit shy with new people, once she warms up, she's a devoted friend. She does tend to vocalize a bit, so she'd do best in a home where that won't be an issue.

Ideal Home

Helen needs a large home with a spacious backyard where she can really stretch her legs and burn off her abundant energy. Due to her nervousness around new people and her high energy, she would thrive in a calm environment. She must be the only animal in the household, as she doesn't do well with cats, children, or other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Helen has a minor chronic skin condition that requires weekly medication to manage. She is up to date on all her shots and has been spayed.

Training & Support

Helen can have occasional accidents in the house and is still working on her leash-walking skills. Patience and consistent positive reinforcement will be key to helping her succeed in these areas.
