Meet Claire Bear! This sweet, 3-year-old, 55 lbs girl originally came to the rescue as the pregnant mama of our "storybook litter." Now that her puppies are fully weaned and thriving, this mellow girl is officially ready to find a forever home of her own! Claire is the ultimate companion-super dog and kid-friendly, incredibly affectionate, and a total people-pleaser. She loves meeting new friends and will happily soak up all the pets and attention you can give. In fact, she's a massive cuddler who doesn't quite realize her size; she fully believes she is a lapdog! Claire is a chill, go-with-the-flow gal who is house, crate, and leash trained. She is an absolute model dog out in public, walking politely on her leash, rolling around in the grass, and keeping her cool in crowds. She loves car rides and going on adventures, whether that's exploring new spots or hanging out at baseball games! When the adventure is over, she is just as happy to relax and match your vibe at home.

Ideal Home

Claire would love a canine friend to co-exist with, but she could also easily be your one-and-only dog! She does great with dogs of a similar energy level, though she isn't a fan of an "alpha" mentality or dogs who jump all over her. We recommend a doggy playdate to ensure a great match! Claire has a natural prey drive, so she ideally needs a home with no cats or other small animals.
