Meet Nikki! She's a professional goofball, an amateur cat toy thief, and a full-time best friend. If you're looking for a dog with a big personality and a happy demeanor, Nikki is your girl! While most dogs are obsessed with squeaky toys or chasing tennis balls, Nikki has other ideas. Her absolute favorite pastime? Stealing the cat toys! Tiny mice, little balls with bells, feather toys...she is convinced they were all created specifically for her entertainment.
Nikki also loves going for walks because every outing is fun. New sights? Fun! New smells? Even better! New people to meet? Best day ever! She approaches life with joy, making even an ordinary walk feel special. When the excitement is over, Nikki is perfectly content to relax. While her foster parents are at work, she happily lounges on her bed in the laundry room and patiently waits for them to come home. She's house-trained and has lovely house manners. Her foster mom says she is SO EASY! Nikki lives with a cat and gets along beautifully!
This beautiful 1-year-old mixed-breed girl weighs about 40 pounds and has already overcome more than her fair share of challenges. Nikki and her sister came from a property with around 10 dogs. Once the girls became pregnant, they were no longer wanted. She lovingly raised her puppies, watched every one of them find amazing homes, and now it's finally her turn. With her beautiful locks and sunny golden coat, Nikki could easily pass for a Golden Retriever's mixed-breed cousin. But her goofy personality is all her own! Nikki is ready for a family who will cherish her, laugh at her silly antics, take her on adventures, and remind her every day that she will never be unwanted again.
