Sassy

Sassy is a sweet, two-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing approximately 10 pounds. This resilient little girl was unfortunately found after being hit by a car in Texas. The accident required her to have a leg amputated, but being a tripod does not slow her down one bit. She has a nice personality and gets along great with other dogs. She is sweet and very playful!

Sassy is a tripod due to an amputation from a previous injury. She is otherwise healthy and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Sassy is a playful pup who is learning to adapt to life on three legs. She is young and eager to please, so with consistent positive reinforcement, she will likely excel with continued training.

• Her adoption fee is $450.
• This fee covers spay/neuter (if old enough), transport fees from Texas, core vaccines, heartworm test (if old enough), deworming, and microchip.
• You will also receive a complimentary first exam at any participating VCA Animal Hospital within the first 14 days of adoption. VCA provides limited health guarantee coverage (up to $250) for specific minor illnesses diagnosed during that initial 14-day window.

Transportation

Sassy is currently in a foster home and can be transported to approved adopters.
