This handsome Great Pyrenees found himself in need of a fresh start, but thankfully a kind family stepped in to keep him safe until he could make his way to TGPR. From the moment he arrived, he's shown everyone what a wonderful boy he truly is. Buddy Boy is the definition of a gentle sweetheart. He absolutely adores people and hasn't met a stranger yet. Whether it's adults or kids, his favorite thing is soaking up attention, leaning in for pets, and wagging his tail the whole time. If you're looking for a loyal companion who just wants to love and be loved, Buddy Boy is ready to fill that role. One thing we've learned about Buddy Boy? He's not exactly a fan of water! Turn on the hose and he'll happily let you know he'd rather be somewhere else. Every dog has their quirks, and we think this one just adds to his charm. His foster family reports that Buddy Boy has been an absolute gentleman in the house. He hasn't been destructive, and has shown no signs of food aggression. Aside from leaving behind a generous sprinkling of classic Great Pyrenees "glitter" (fur!), he's been the perfect houseguest. Buddy Boy is still on the thin side and could use a few good meals to get back to a healthy weight, but with proper nutrition and plenty of love, we know he'll be looking and feeling his best in no time. This sweet, easygoing boy has so much love to give, and we can't wait to see him find the forever family he's been waiting for.
