Sausage is a soft and kind boy who is a bit shy, though a beautiful little soul. He loves other kind dogs, treats, and pets. He is a genuinely good boy who wants to be loved by his people. He crates well and is working on leash and other basic skills like settling down on his own. He is approximately 20 pounds and was born in early 2022. He is looking for someone to continue to help him grow and learn about the world.
Ideal Home
Sausage needs a home with a securely and visibly fenced yard. He is not suited for apartment living, though some condos or homes with a private fenced yard might be considered. He would do best in a teen-plus or adult-only household. He would likely thrive with another dog of similar size that is playful and kind.
Ongoing Health
All R.E.D. animals are spayed or neutered and vaccinated. Most are microchipped with adopter registration included.
Training & Support
Sausage is still working on leash skills and settling down on his own. He is not the bravest and takes time to warm up to people. He would benefit from a patient adopter with training skills who can be a soft, kind leader and understands dog behavior.
