He used to be the life of the party, a social butterfly who loved making friends. But after a tough experience with a larger dog, his confidence was shaken, and he’s been feeling shy and unsure around other pups ever since. Now, he’s searching for a patient and loving family—or a dedicated person—who will help him rediscover his courage and remind him what it feels like to be safe and confident again. With the right home, Daquiri is sure to blossom into the happy, playful dog he once was. He just needs someone to believe in him. Could that be you? Ongoing Health
All vetting is covered by the adoption fee, including DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping.
Training & Support
Daquiri can be shy and unsure around other dogs due to a past negative experience. He will need continued training and understanding to help him feel safe and confident. Our team works on behavior and social enrichment, including leash training and basic commands, to prepare our dogs for adoption.

Transporation
Daquiri is currently located in Angleton, TX. He is available for transport to VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. Transport buses are equipped with air conditioning, two drivers, and two onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. You will have the opportunity to follow along on his journey through a private Facebook Event page. Our Adoption Coordinator will help find the closest transport pick-up location to you.
