Birdie is a sweet, silly, and absolutely adorable girl who is slowly but surely warming up to the world around her. While new things can make her a little nervous, her foster has been patiently helping her build confidence one small step at a time, and she’s making wonderful progress! She has done well living with other dogs and may thrive in a home with a confident canine companion to help show her the ropes. One of Birdie’s favorite moments of the day is curling up next to her foster mom on the couch as soon as she sits down. She happily takes treats and is learning that people can be safe, kind, and comforting. Birdie is the kind of dog who reminds you that the biggest transformations don’t happen overnight. With patience, reassurance, and love, she’s already beginning to blossom into the confident girl she’s meant to be. Now she just needs a family willing to meet her where she is and cheer her on every step of the way. If you’re looking for a gentle soul to grow alongside, Birdie is ready to find her person.
