Honey

Honey's name fits her perfectly. She is sweet, loyal, and full of quiet love. She was abandoned on the side of the highway and rescued just in time. Anemic, underweight, and scared, she is now healthy, vaccinated, spayed, and ready for a fresh start. This smart, mid-energy girl is a Lab/Shepherd mix with a loyal heart, who tries her hardest to make her person happy. Honey is clean, food-motivated, and loves car rides, but will need a little leash work. She is protective of her home and currently living peacefully with 10 other dogs, but is more than ready for a home of her own. Honey survived being left behind, now she deserves someone who will never leave her again.

Ideal Home

Honey would do best with children 10 and older, and would prefer to live with non-dominant dogs. She cannot live with cats.

Ongoing Health

Honey is spayed, vaccinated, and was treated for anemia. She is now healthy and ready for her forever home.

Training & Support

Honey is food-motivated and smart, but will need some leash work.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico.
• Approved adopters are matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home.
• For adoptions during the summer months, dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable.

Honey is located in Bucerias, Mexico. Transportation to adopters in the US and Canada is available through flight companions.
