At about a year old, Scrappy is still learning the ropes of the world. He's house trained and even rings a bell when he needs to go out. He loves to play with his canine foster sibling and would enjoy having a dog friend, though he can be selective and appreciates slow introductions. Scrappy is a professional cuddler who melts for belly rubs and will roll over the moment you reach down to pet him. He's still got some puppy energy and loves to chew, but his favorite thing is just being close to his person. Ideal Home
Scrappy would do best in a home with a fenced yard where he can patrol and keep watch. He'd also do well with older, considerate children who understand his boundaries.
Ongoing Health
All adoption pets are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, and on flea/tick & heartworm prevention. For dogs, heartworm testing is also done.
Training & Support
Scrappy is house trained and rings a bell when he needs to go out. He is making great progress learning that passing dogs and kids on scooters aren't anything to worry about, but he can be selective with other dogs and appreciates slow introductions. He is still working on his chewing habits.
