Pearl

Pearl is a 10-month-old, approximately 42-45 lb, Golden Retriever mix who is all smiles and ready to find her forever family! She came to us as a stray after a heartbreaking situation where she was found protecting her sister on a construction site. Thankfully, construction workers brought her to safety, and she's been thriving ever since. Pearl loves other dogs of all sizes and was previously fostered in a sanctuary where she got along wonderfully with everyone. She's also met resident kitties and shows curiosity, so slow and patient introductions will be key for a successful integration. Pearl is a big fan of children and would be a fantastic addition to an active family looking for a playful, cuddly, and adorable companion. She's house-trained but not yet crate-trained.

Ideal Home

Pearl would love a home where she can play and show off her beautiful coat and wonderful personality. She is great with children.

Ongoing Health

Pearl is spayed, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, and has received a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian. She previously tested heartworm positive, has completed her antibiotics, and requires monthly heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Pearl is house-trained but not yet crate-trained. Slow and patient introductions are recommended for any resident kitties.

Pearl is located in a foster home in Rhode Island and is available for pick-up or a meet and greet there.
