Hello! My name is Crackle, and I'm about four months old. I'm a handsome boy with mostly black fur and the cutest white mask on my nose. I also have a mix of clear and black nails, and I was a very good sport when my foster mom trimmed them because they were getting a little sharp!
My foster mom says I'm a smart boy. While my brother is learning to fetch, I'm still figuring out the "give it back" part, but I'm a quick learner! I love to chew on my Nylabone, but I also adore cuddling up next to my foster mom. If you're looking for a snuggle buddy, I'm your guy!
I'm doing wonderfully with potty training and haven't had any accidents in the house for about four days. I'm also a pro at crate training and don't whine when I'm inside, especially at bedtime with a little encouragement. I am working on some separation anxiety, and learning that my foster mom always comes back, so a patient and understanding home would be amazing.
I can be a little shy and timid when encountering new things, but once I get the hang of it, I become quite confident! For example, I was hesitant about the stairs in my foster mom's apartment at first, but now I zoom up them faster than my brother! I do sometimes throw little whiny tantrums when my brother bothers me while I'm trying to sleep. Although I'm timid, I do bark when I hear people around the apartment or see others outside, and we're working on that. I'm also learning to "sit," take treats gently, and wait for the "okay" to eat, all of which I'm doing a great job with because I'm a very smart boy!
