Sweet Pea (Male)

Meet Sweet Pea! This charming male Doxi mix is about a year old and absolutely thriving in his foster home. He came to us with his mom, Roo Bear, when his previous family faced hardship. Sweet Pea is a bundle of love and energy, always ready for a cuddle. He walks beautifully on a leash and would likely enjoy a fenced yard, though he's perfectly happy without one. He's house-trained and crate-trained, sleeping through the night in his crate, though he might enjoy snuggling up with his people if given the chance! Sweet Pea gets along with everyone, including dogs, adults, and children. He previously lived with a cat and did well. He's a bit taller than expected for his breed mix, but he makes up for it with an abundance of affection. His curious mind is always engaged, and he loves working for his meals with puzzle toys and snuffle mats. He's a quick learner and picks up on training easily!

Ideal Home

A home ready for lots of love and cuddles. A fenced yard would be a bonus, but is not required.

Ongoing Health

Sweet Pea is not yet neutered, but this procedure will be completed prior to his adoption.

Training & Support

Sweet Pea is house-trained and crate-trained, though he barks a little at night in his crate. He is a quick learner and enjoys mental stimulation through puzzle toys and snuffle mats.
