Cassian

Cassian is a handsome 1-year-old, 45-pound Shepherd mix with a heart full of love to give! He's already mastered potty training and crate training, and he walks like a pro on a leash. Cassian enjoys the company of other dogs, though he might see a scurrying cat as an invitation to play chase. He's a bit of a homebody and can be shy with new people, but his foster family is patiently helping him build confidence and learn that people are kind. He absolutely adores hiking and playing in the yard, and his ultimate joy is "herding" his foster dad's RC car! Cassian would be happiest in a home with a confident canine sibling to show him the ropes.

Ongoing Health

Cassian is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm tested. He is also on heartworm preventative.

Training & Support

Cassian is potty trained and crate trained and walks well on a leash. He is shy with new people but is working on building his confidence.

• We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out.

We adopt within a 2-hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
