Kira is a 5-year-old female Cattle Dog mix weighing about 48 lbs. She's spayed, vaccinated, heartworm-negative, and ready for her forever home.

Kira enjoys playing with other dogs but also loves taking time to herself to rest or explore. True to her cattle dog roots, she's smart, curious, and responds beautifully to positive reinforcement.

Ideal home Kira would thrive with an active adult or family with older kids who can offer structure, companionship, and regular exercise. She bonds closely with her person and is a classic “shadow dog” — happiest hiking, jogging, or simply sharing daily life together. A secure home with space to roam would be perfect.

Her story Kira was found roaming the streets near Guadalajara with serious injuries to her eye. She trusted the right human, followed her to safety, and underwent surgery to remove her eye and end her pain. Since then, Kira has healed beautifully — physically and emotionally — showing incredible resilience and grace.
