Ridge is an 8-month-old Anatolian Shepherd who, despite a rough start, has blossomed into a sunny and social pup! He's playful, friendly, and happy to be in the company of people, other dogs, and even cats. Ridge is a large puppy with a big personality, and he's destined to grow into an equally large and opinionated adult. His adopter will need to understand the Anatolian Shepherd breed and be prepared to offer consistent structure.
Ridge is a joyful soul who believes life is excellent, dogs are fun, people are useful, and cats are acceptable. He's quite convinced, however, that Roombas are demonic floor creatures that should not be trusted!
Because Ridge is young, large, and still mastering his coordination and brainpower, we recommend a home with children over 10 years old. He will also require a fenced yard, as he is not suited for apartment living or a casual leash-walk-only lifestyle. An adopter should be prepared for a very large dog; he's already tall and still growing!
Ridge is a truly wonderful young dog, eager to find a home that will provide him with guidance, boundaries, space to play, and the opportunity to become the fantastic adult dog he's on his way to being. Bonus points if your vacuum cleaner is kept out of sight and your Roomba has made peace with its existence!
