Leeah

Meet Leeah, a delightful 6-year-old, 45-pound lady with a heart full of love and a desire for a forever home. Leeah was rescued over a year ago and has been cherished by her family. Sadly, due to an upcoming out-of-state move and significant life changes, her family can no longer keep her and is hoping to find her a safe and loving environment where she'll continue to be adored.

Leeah is described by her foster as a dream dog, perfectly balancing couch potato tendencies with an adventurous spirit. She is wonderful with children and cats, shows her excitement with happy toe taps at mealtime, and enjoys keeping her human's bed warm. Leeah is comfortable being left uncrated, is fully kennel trained, rides well in the car, and tolerates baths and vet visits with ease. She has even had positive experiences at doggy daycare and overnight boarding.

Ideal Home

Leeah would thrive in a home with a yard where she can enjoy her zoomies and soak up the sun. Above all, she desires a cozy couch, loving people, and a place to truly belong.

Ongoing Health

Leeah is missing one eye, but this does not affect her quality of life or require any special care. She is fully self-sufficient and lives life just like any other happy dog.

Training & Support

While Leeah can be a little strong on leash initially due to her excitement, she calms down and walks wonderfully. Positive reinforcement and patience will help her continue to master leash manners.

Transportation
