Mocha is a sweet 3-year-old who may be a bit shy at first. With the right patience and love, she will absolutely flourish into a wonderful companion. She was found abandoned in downtown Amarillo during a cold winter spell and was rescued and brought to safety. Mocha loves spending time outdoors and is fully crate-trained. While she can get along with other dogs given the proper introduction, it’s important to handle her transition carefully.

Ongoing Health
Mocha's adoption fee of $500 includes her spay, current vaccinations (rabies, 4 parvo/distemper boosters, and Bordetella), negative heartworm test (if 6+ months old at transport), negative fecal within 14 days of transport, health certificate within 10 days of transport, and registered microchip.
Training & Support
Mocha is fully crate-trained. She can get along with other dogs with proper introductions.

- As a Project Freedom Ride direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet would take place on a video call (FB Messenger Call, Facetime, Zoom, Etc).
- The adoption application and fee would be finalized & paid in full prior to receiving your dog.

Mocha is currently fostered in Texas but is available for adoption throughout the country thanks to our transport program. Drop-off locations include:
