About Honey
Honey Comb is a sweet, affectionate, and silly 6-year-old Terrier mix who weighs 68 lbs. She's a full-grown girl who absolutely melts into her humans, always finding a way to be close, whether it's resting her head on your lap or nuzzling in for cuddles. Don't worry about slobbery kisses, though; Honey Comb prefers to express her love through gentle affection. She's also wonderfully independent, happy to entertain herself with a chew toy or nap nearby, making her an excellent companion for those working from home. When it's time for fun, Honey Comb is ready for anything, from zoomies in the yard to neighborhood walks and car rides. She greets everyone, young and old, with a big smile and her signature "stop, drop, and roll" for belly rubs. Honey Comb is incredibly smart and has excellent manners, showing respect around food and quickly learning household routines. She's the perfect blend of playful energy and chill vibes, always ready for an adventure or a cozy cuddle session.
Ideal Home
Honey Comb would thrive in a home where she can receive plenty of quality time and affection. She absolutely needs a fenced-in backyard for playing fetch and sunbathing. She'd prefer a quieter suburban or rural setting over a busy city, as she loves exploring nature trails and hikes. Honey Comb thrives as the only pet in the home, soaking up all the love and attention for herself. A home without cats is recommended. She would love to have human siblings to share her love with. Due to her enthusiastic nature, a home with children aged 4 and up is recommended to avoid accidental bumps from her happy tail.
Ongoing Health
Honey Comb is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, has been spayed, and is microchipped. She is on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. She has a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian and has received any necessary vet care while in our care.
Training & Support
Honey Comb is kennel trained, potty trained, and leash trained. She signals her need to go outside by "tap dancing" by the door. She is not destructive and can be trusted when left alone. She is happy to sleep in a kennel but would love to sleep with her family in bed or on a dog bed next to them.
