Lenny

Lenny is a gorgeous 2-year-old male hound mix weighing 70 lbs. He arrived at Animal Alliance with his sister after they were picked up as strays in the south. When you first meet Lenny, he needs a moment to assess you before he can relax and ask for pets. He's the sweetest guy around and just needs some reassurance to show his true, loving personality.

Ideal Home

Lenny has lived happily with kids aged 10+, dogs, and a cat, and he's currently thriving in a doggie daycare environment. He's playful and happy with his playmates. Animal Alliance does not adopt adult dogs (over 9 months old) into households with children under 9 years of age due to the risk of bites. They do not adopt to families with children 3 years and younger or expectant families due to the safety risk for infants and toddlers.

Ongoing Health

Lenny is on prescription food for a sensitive stomach that would need to be maintained. He has been spayed or neutered, de-wormed, is current on vaccines, and has started on monthly flea and tick preventatives.

Training & Support

Lenny is housebroken and incredibly friendly once he feels comfortable.
