Amber may be young, but don’t let that fool you; she is one of the most well-behaved pups you’ll ever meet! Amber found herself on the euthanasia list at a local shelter, but we couldn’t let her story end there. Sunnyside Street Dogs stepped in just in time, and now she’s safe and ready to find the forever home she’s always deserved. She is impressively crate trained and will happily walk herself into her kennel, patiently waiting for a treat like the good girl she is. She’s also potty trained, making her an easy and wonderful companion to have in the home. Amber loves to play and has a silly, endearing personality—she’ll chase a ball with enthusiasm, even if she’s still figuring out the “bring it back” part! She enjoys her toys, hard chews, and showing off her adorable zoomies. Her quirky feeding-time barks are sure to make you smile. What truly makes Amber special is her incredibly sweet and loving nature. She adores kisses, hugs, and being told she’s a “pretty girl,” soaking up every bit of affection with those soulful eyes.
Ideal Home
Amber is a happy, resilient, and affectionate girl who has come so far—and now she’s just waiting for someone to give her the loving home she’s been dreaming of. She is dog friendly.
Ongoing Health
Amber is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.
Training & Support
She is making great progress every day in learning her manners when meeting other dogs and can come on a little strong at first. She will also need some continued work on her leash skills.

Transporation
Amber is located in Houston, Texas. Transport is available out of state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
