Misty

Meet Misty! This sweet 2-year-old, 55-pound Great Pyrenees mix has a heart as soft as her fluffy coat. Misty is on the quiet and shy side, but once she decides you're in the club, she's all sweetness. She's a polite companion for cats and will make friends with other dogs without a fuss. Misty would likely do best with children who are past the energetic, screeching years.

Ideal Home

Misty's perfect home needs a fenced yard, which is a non-negotiable requirement. She would thrive with a family who understands that quiet dogs can be the very best kind. A comfy sofa to relax on would be a wonderful bonus.

Ongoing Health

Misty has a mildly collapsing trachea. While this may sound concerning, it simply means she cannot use a collar with a leash. A chest-type harness is necessary for her safety and comfort for life. Aside from an occasional cough if the harness is not fitted correctly, this condition is not a significant issue.

Misty is a gentle soul who will bloom with kindness, patience, and a little time to adjust to her new surroundings.
