Nina Butter Roll Baby

Meet Nina, also known as Miss Buttered Roll! This adorable pup is estimated to be around 2 years old and is a truly special companion. Nina has a unique charm with her squishy body, floppy ears, soulful eyes, and delightful rolls that make her irresistible. She's the kind of dog who captures the hearts of everyone she meets. While her exact breed mix is a mystery, it's a perfect blend that has resulted in a truly wonderful dog.

Nina's foster family is utterly smitten with her. She thrives on love and affection, simply wanting a cozy spot to nap and humans to adore. Nina is a "respectful Velcro dog" – she loves to be near her people but also gives them space. She'll follow you around, check in, and then settle contentedly nearby, making her a perfect companion for any activity. Physically, Nina is a dream with her caramel coat, charming white markings, and a delightfully squishy physique that begs for gentle squeezes. When she's happy, her whole body wiggles with an infectious "happiness ripple."

Ideal Home

Nina enjoys the company of other dogs and is playful and social, though she can sometimes act as a "playground supervisor." She does best with thoughtful introductions and dogs who appreciate her calm demeanor. A quieter canine companion would be a great match, or she'd be happy as an only dog. Nina can get excited and pull on the leash when she sees other dogs, so she would prefer a home environment rather than apartment living where she might frequently encounter unfamiliar dogs in close quarters. Her cat testing was inconclusive but showed politeness and curiosity, and additional testing can be arranged. While not formally tested with children, her affectionate and gentle nature suggests she could be a wonderful family dog, and kid testing can be completed for interested adopters.

Nina's medical records are up-to-date and include all necessary vetting.

Training & Support

Nina can become excited and vocal when seeing other dogs on leash, though she calms down once proper introductions are made. This is something to work on in her new home.

Transportation

Nina is located in our Texas-based facility. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
