Meet Indie, a sweet and spirited 5-month-old Anatolian Shepherd/Boxer mix with a heart as big as her paws! Weighing in at about 35 pounds and still growing, she’s adorable and discovering the world one playful step at a time. Indie is already off to a great start; she’s spayed, fully vaccinated, and up to date on all her preventative care. She’s settling into home life and showing everyone just how special she is. Like any puppy, Indie is full of curiosity and energy, but she’s also proven to be incredibly smart. She’s catching on quickly to both potty and crate training, and with a little patience and consistency, she’ll continue to thrive and learn. Playtime is one of Indie’s favorite things, especially when she’s romping around with her sister. She absolutely adores toys and treats, and she’s ready to bring joy, laughter, and plenty of puppy snuggles into her forever home.
Ideal Home
Indie would likely do very well in a home with other dogs, as long as proper introductions are made. While she hasn’t met any cats yet, her young age and gentle nature suggest she could learn to coexist with them. Because Indie is still working on her puppy manners, she’d do best with older, dog-savvy kids who can help guide her as she grows.

Training & Support
Indie is catching on quickly to both potty and crate training, and with a little patience and consistency, she’ll continue to thrive and learn. She’s eager to please and just needs a family willing to continue her training and give her the structure she needs.

- Once completing the initial screen, you will be connected for a video chat.
- Transports run every few weeks, and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved.
- If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time.
- We are a volunteer-run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. If you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision-making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog.
Transportation
Indie is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved.
