Basil is a resilient Doberman who has faced some significant health challenges at a young age. He underwent cataract surgery at six months old, but unfortunately, further complications led to the removal of his left eye. While he has some vision in his right eye, he will require lifelong medical treatment and special care. Despite his medical history, Basil's spirit is strong, and he's looking for a home that can offer him the understanding and support he deserves.

Ideal Home

Basil would thrive in a calm environment and would do best as the only dog. He needs an owner who is experienced with Dobermans and is committed to continuing his medical treatment plan.

Ongoing Health

Basil has had a cataract surgery and his left eye was removed. He retains some vision in his right eye and requires lifelong medical treatment, including daily eye drops.

Training & Support
