Norman

Norman is a sweet senior 8-year-old who pays minimal attention to the other dog in his foster home. He enjoys car rides and is independent, though he has recently become much more of a snuggler, which is adorable! Norman walks well on leash and eats his recommended diet enthusiastically. He has even figured out how to climb onto his foster's bed and sleeps for 10 hours straight!

Ideal Home

Norman would do best in a home with a fully fenced-in yard, as he loves to explore. Because he has some depth perception issues, it would be best to carry him up stairs and then block them off so he cannot independently go up or down.

Ongoing Health

Norman needs fairly extensive dental work. He had a preliminary visit, but his heart rate was found to be a little slow. As a precaution, he will be seeing a cardiologist on June 18th to ensure he is suitable for anesthesia for the dental procedure.

Training & Support

Norman loves to walk and get his steps in. While he may seem disengaged at first, he just needs a moment to explore before he's ready to snuggle. He is good with most dogs and people, but a slight prey drive has been observed with the foster's chickens.

Norman is in our foster program in the Northern Virginia area. We are able to provide transportation to the surrounding Wags adoption centers.
