Shadow/King Havard

Meet Shadow, a distinguished 10-year-old gentleman who weighs in at a robust 90 lbs. This handsome black Lab mix has captured the hearts of our staff and volunteers with his wonderful personality. Shadow previously lived harmoniously with a senior dog and two cats, but after the passing of his canine companion, he began to show signs of distress, leading to his return to our care. Shadow is a naturally protective boy who forms deep connections with his people, making him an excellent watchdog.

Ideal Home

Shadow would thrive in an adults-only home where he can be the sole, beloved guardian and receive all the attention.

Training & Support

Shadow is a water-loving enthusiast and will happily engage in play with any body of water, from ponds to kiddie pools. He is also a big fan of fetch and will keep the game going as long as you can! He enjoys car rides and outings to the park, making the most of his time away from the kennel. Shadow misses the comforts of a home environment and is eager to find his forever family.
