Baby Girl

Baby Girl is a sweet 42 lb. Pit Bull Terrier mix with the cutest little baby face and a pitiful pout. She's a little shy and will take some time to warm up to new friends, but she's working hard to improve her leash-walking skills with our volunteers and staff. Baby Girl is food-motivated and takes her treats gently. She was previously in a home with small children without issues and was curious initially meeting cats, but then ignored them. She has been around dogs before and did have problems with food/treats, so she will need to be fed separately from other animals in her new home.

Ideal Home

Baby Girl needs a patient owner who is willing to give her the time she needs to adjust to new things. She is curious but a little unsure when meeting dog friends, so slow introductions are key.

Ongoing Health

Baby Girl is heartworm negative and her adoption fee includes her spay, vaccinations, deworming, and microchip.

Training & Support

Baby Girl is learning to walk on a leash, which involves some freezing and running, but she is making progress. She needs continued practice and positive reinforcement.
