Meet Apple Donut, an approximately 2-3-year-old Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix weighing 14 pounds. She's a sweet girl who was rescued from a hoarding situation along with 11 other dogs. Thankfully, she's now safe and receiving the care she deserves. Apple Donut is a wonderful companion who will happily be your shadow, offering gentle head nudges and snuggles. She's also thoughtful enough to give you personal space when you need it! She's unfazed by loud noises like fireworks, vacuums, or blenders, sleeping right through them.

Apple Donut would thrive in a home where she can be a constant companion. She's a bit of a homebody, happy to relax on the couch.

Ongoing Health

Apple Donut has received vaccinations and spaying. She is up-to-date on all medical care.

Training & Support

Apple Donut is still working on her potty training and leash walking. She gets nervous around strangers and needs a patient person to help build her confidence. She also experiences some separation anxiety, likely due to her past, so she'll need someone who can provide a sense of safety and calm. Professional training is recommended to help her blossom into the best family member she can be.
