Meet Leo! This handsome and young pup is one of our most overlooked dogs, but he's sure to steal your heart. Leo was initially scared and shut down at the county shelter, but after almost a year in our care, he's blossomed into a playful and affectionate companion. He's a volunteer favorite for a reason – he's incredibly affectionate, walks beautifully on leash, and is eager to please. Leo knows basic commands and is very trainable, making him a fantastic walking buddy who stays close and is non-reactive. He absolutely loves toys and gets the fastest zoomies when he's excited! It's a mystery why this sweet boy with an amazing personality, playful spirit, and striking good looks hasn't found his forever home yet.

Ideal Home

Leo would thrive in a home that can match his youthful spirit but also enjoys cozy couch cuddles. He'd do best with confident handlers who can provide structure, routine, and continued training.
