Mermaid

Mermaid is a charming 5 ½-year-old, 60 lb American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a heart full of love to share! She's a social butterfly who adores people of all ages and sizes. While her sweet face might suggest a preference for lounging, Mermaid is actually quite energetic and loves her walks and playtime in the yard. She was rescued from a local kill shelter and is now eagerly searching for her forever home. Mermaid gets along well with other dogs, especially male dogs, and has never met a human she didn't like – she'll happily soak up all the attention you can offer!

Ideal Home

Mermaid would thrive in a home where she can get plenty of attention and exercise. She enjoys walks and yard play, so a home with outdoor space would be wonderful.

Training & Support

Mermaid is crate trained and knows commands like "sit" and "stay." However, she can sometimes forget her training when she gets too excited. With consistent reinforcement, she'll be a super star!
