Meet Roscoe! He's a sweetheart with a heart every bit as big as his goofy grin. After getting a second chance at life, he is ready to find the family he has been waiting for. Before coming into rescue, Roscoe spent his days wandering a developing neighborhood, making the best of things on his own. A kind construction worker noticed him and laid out a blanket for him, and Roscoe quickly claimed it as his favorite spot. Even then, it was clear he wasn't asking for much – just a little kindness and a place to belong. With the help of his foster family, Roscoe was eventually brought to safety and given the care he needed. Today, Roscoe is kennel trained, potty trained, wonderful with kids, and gets along great with other dogs. He has an easygoing, affectionate personality and loves being part of whatever his people are doing. Whether it's a walk around the neighborhood, a weekend adventure, or a lazy afternoon on the couch, Roscoe is simply happy to be by your side. More than anything, Roscoe is ready for a home of his own. A soft bed, a family to love, and someone to share life's adventures with. That blanket on a construction site made him feel safe once. Now he is hoping to find something even better – a forever home.
Ideal Home
Roscoe is wonderful with kids and gets along great with other dogs. He loves being part of whatever his people are doing.
Ongoing Health
Roscoe does have a small heart murmur that is being monitored by his veterinarian, but it doesn't slow him down one bit. He continues to enjoy life with enthusiasm, curiosity, and plenty of tail wags. While he may need medication later in life, he's currently doing great and focusing on what he does best – loving his people. He received treatment for a skin condition and completed heartworm treatment.

Transportation
Roscoe is currently in his foster home in Houston, Texas. He is available for transport to many locations all across the country. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport fee.
