Meet Hachi!

This sweet boy spent most of his life in an outdoor kennel, having been rescued from a hoarding situation. Despite his past, Hachi has a heart full of love and a gentle spirit. He's a total love bug who adores his humans, is wonderful with kids, and is friendly to everyone he meets. He truly cherishes the simple things like belly rubs, a cozy bed, and quality family time – things he never experienced before. Hachi is a resilient little guy who is crate trained and potty trained, and he's ready to find his forever home. While he can be a bit bossy with timid dogs, he does well with slow introductions to more confident pups. Hachi is looking for a home where he's included, cherished, and loved. He's a medium-energy dog who enjoys adventures but is also happy to relax at home.

Ideal Home

Ongoing Health

Hachi is still working on gaining weight after years of being underfed. His ideal weight is closer to 60 lbs, so he'd appreciate a home that can help him reach that goal with tasty treats!

Training & Support

Hachi is crate trained and potty trained. He can sometimes try to be the "big tough guy" with more timid dogs, so continuing with slow, positive introductions to other dogs is recommended.
