Honey has perfected the art of being exactly where she belongs—curled up in a lap, ready for free snackies, and soaking up affection in precisely the way she was born to! Sweet, gentle, and wonderfully easy to love, Honey makes herself at home in your heart immediately. Estimated to be around 5 years old, weighing a perfectly portable 12 pounds, and looking very much like a Chihuahua mix, Honey is a rescue, so breed and age are simply our best guess. What we know for certain is that she is an affectionate little companion whose favorite place in the world is right alongside her people.
Ideal Home
Honey is searching for a family to love, a lap to claim, a few snacks to enjoy, a soft bed, and a steady routine. She would be perfectly happy as an only dog soaking up all the attention, or joining a home with respectful canine companions of any shape or size. She would also be a great fit for a home with calm, respectful cats who appreciate a peaceful roommate and will not take advantage of her cautious approach. She showed a soft, easygoing nature when meeting a five-year-old child.

Training & Support
Honey is house trained, crate trained, and has mastered the doggie door. She is a people-focused girl who enjoys canine company but does not rely on other dogs for confidence or entertainment. She met the resident cat with sweet caution and prefers to coexist peacefully.
