Meet Atticus, a charming 1.5-year-old Hound with a heart as big as his personality! Found as a stray, Atticus has a remarkable ability to connect with people, offering comfort with his gentle presence and laughter with his goofy antics. He's known as the "Healing Houndy" for a reason! Atticus is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows voice commands and hand signals, making him a joy to train. With his adorable overbite, nub tail wiggles, and energetic zoomies, his cuteness is undeniable. He's a playful jester, a loving cuddler, and a true companion.

Atticus would do best as the only dog in the home.

Ongoing Health

Atticus had to have extended neuter surgery due to ingesting rocks. Extra vigilance is needed to ensure he does not ingest dangerous objects.

Training & Support

Atticus has excelled in basic training, knowing commands and hand signals, and is house-trained and crate-trained. However, he has a tendency to eat inappropriate items, so supervision and a safe environment are crucial. Regular exercise through long walks or hikes is important for him.
