Ginny

Meet Ginny, a lovely 6-year-old German Shepherd with a heart of gold and a brain to match! Ginny is a calm and respectful girl who already knows her basic commands like "sit," "shake," and "lay down." She's a polite and focused lady, especially when treats are involved – she takes them gently and is very food-motivated. While she tolerates gentle petting, she's not one to seek out attention, preferring a quiet life. She's not particularly playful with toys but is a well-mannered companion on walks and is non-reactive when passing other dogs. However, she can react when other dogs pass her kennel, so a home environment where she feels secure would be ideal.

Ideal Home

Ginny would be happiest in a home where she can enjoy a yard to observe and quietly "do her job" as a watchful companion. She thrives in a structured environment with a routine and a peaceful atmosphere.

Ongoing Health

Ginny received her vaccines on 4-11-26 and is not microchipped.

Training & Support

Ginny knows "sit," "shake," and "lay down." She is food-motivated and takes treats gently. While she is non-reactive to dogs on walks, she does react to dogs passing her kennel, so a calm home environment would be beneficial for her adjustment.
