Willie Mae is a beautiful, sweet, and intelligent shadow dog who wants to be by her person’s side, quietly and respectfully. Whether you're engaging in activities or just relaxing on the couch, she'll be content to be near you. If you're looking for a calm, laid-back companion who will share quiet moments with you, she's the one. Willie Mae even greets strangers with a gentle nose nudge. She is an athletic companion who can easily walk, hike, or jog for miles on leash, but is also happy to chill inside. She is 100% non-destructive in the home and can entertain herself with toys. Willie Mae is treat-motivated and a quick learner, already mastering commands like sit, stay, come, heal, and leave it in just three weeks. She respects boundaries, works hard to understand expectations, and is remarkably easy to correct. She has learned not to counter-surf and is no longer jumpy, offering a gentle greeting instead. Willie Mae can be left uncrated for up to four hours without issue and sleeps soundly through the night. A bonus is her very short hair, which means she hardly sheds, making her a great companion for those with allergies and reducing cleaning time. She's also easy to bathe!
