ROSEMARY is a delightful 6 1/2 year old mixed breed who came to us as a lost dog. When she first arrived, she was experiencing seizures, but thanks to prompt medication, she has been seizure-free since. We're currently in the process of adjusting her medication, and while we hope she won't need it long-term, it's still being monitored. Rosemary also tested positive for Lyme disease, for which she is receiving treatment, and heartworm disease, which will also be treated. Despite these health concerns, Rosemary remains calm, quiet, gentle, and sweet. She has a wonderful demeanor, is an excellent walker, knows the "sit" command, and is very attentive to people. She also loves treats and takes them gently. Rosemary is truly an amazing companion!
Ideal Home
Rosemary would thrive in a home that can continue to monitor her health needs and provide a calm and loving environment.
Ongoing Health
Rosemary is being treated for Lyme disease and heartworm disease. Her need for seizure medication is being evaluated. Her adoption fee covers her spay, vaccinations, worming, monthly heartworm and flea prevention, and microchip, but does not cover additional medical care such as seizure medication, Lyme disease treatment, or heartworm treatment. Donations towards her heartworm treatment are greatly appreciated and can be made via the Clay County Humane Society website.
