Meet Peace! This beautiful 3-year-old Shepherd-Hound mix, weighing around 50 pounds, is a devoted mama who has successfully raised her puppies and is now ready to find her very own forever family. Peace is a gentle soul who can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but she's learning that humans are kind and trustworthy. Once she feels comfortable, her sweet and loving personality truly shines. She warms up quickly, adores being with her people, and gets along wonderfully with her canine friends. She has a special bond with her best friend, Snow! Peace has sparkling white teeth, a soft heart, and an impressive vertical leap. She absolutely loves treats, especially cheese and wet food, and can often be found playing and wrestling with her doggy pals. Having taught her puppies confidence and encouraged their exploration, Peace is now eager to experience the joys of being a cherished pet herself.
Ideal Home
Peace is 100% potty trained and enjoys cuddling on the couch, even sharing the bed with her humans. She has done well with children, including her foster's 9-year-old niece.
Ongoing Health
All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for their age. Peace has had her spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet.
Training & Support
While Peace is still building confidence in some areas and would benefit from continued leash training, she is making excellent progress every day.
