Leon is a handsome young man with a unique black mask that makes him stand out from the crowd! This approximately 1.5-year-old, 44 lb Black Mouth Cur mix is a medium-sized dog with a heart full of love to give. He's already been fully vetted and is heartworm negative, so he's ready to find his forever family. Leon was found abandoned with his brother in North Carolina, but he's put that behind him and is looking forward to a bright future.

Ideal Home

Leon is a sweet boy who absolutely loves attention! He can be a little shy in new environments like boarding, but with a loving and safe home, he'll blossom and gain confidence. He would do wonderfully as a second dog, as he can learn from an existing canine companion. He would also love a yard to romp and play in, with plenty of space for zoomies and ball-chasing!

Training & Support

Leon is a very smart pup who learns commands quickly and takes treats gently. He's good-natured, friendly, and very playful. He's ready for adventure and would make an awesome running or hiking partner, but his favorite activity is definitely belly rubs!
