Rover

Rover is a sweet and goofy boy who has a medium to high energy level and a deep love for people and play! He's easy to leash and walk, though he may pull a bit, he's easily redirected. Rover is dog friendly and enjoys interacting with other dogs, though he can get a little vocal if they're in his space. He has done well with kids (ages 5-13), but can be a bit unsure at first, so slow, respectful introductions work best. Rover allows full body handling and does great for baths. He is suspected to be housebroken and crate trained. He loves attention, will happily show off for treats, and sometimes thinks he's a lap dog! He can get a little mouthy when overstimulated, but redirects easily. Overall, he's a very affectionate, playful dog who thinks everyone is his friend. Rover reads dog cues very well! He does like to play with his mouth, so just make sure your dog is okay with that.

Ideal Home

Rover would do best in an active home that can keep up with his energy and give him space to run and play.

Ongoing Health

Rover is current on shots, licensed, and microchipped. All dogs over 6 months have been heartworm tested, and all dogs are treated monthly for fleas/ticks and are on Heartworm prevention. All pets are spayed/neutered prior to a finalized adoption.

Training & Support

Rover can get a little mouthy when overstimulated, but redirects easily.
