Mojo

Mojo is an 8½-year-old male German Shepherd with an incredible comeback story! He and his mom were found abandoned and living in squalor, with Mojo in rough shape and struggling with severe genetic hip issues. After arriving with us in 2024, he underwent successful bilateral hip surgeries. The results have been nothing short of remarkable! Mojo is now running like a fiend and making up for lost time, clearly thrilled to be living his best life.

Mojo is wonderful with people and truly enjoys human company. He's affectionate, gentle, and once he bonds with you, he's a complete love sponge! He's also good with other dogs, with one important caveat: his canine friends need to be respectful. Mojo has had hip surgeries and doesn't need any roughhousing from playmates, so polite dog companions are a must. He'd also do best with children over 10 who understand that dogs are not ponies. Cats and small animals are a firm no for Mojo.

Ideal Home

Mojo needs a securely fenced yard and a home where significant stair climbing won't be required, as fewer stairs would be ideal for him.

Ongoing Health

Mojo has had two hip surgeries.

Mojo is well-mannered, housebroken, and very easy to live with. He knows how to settle, relax, and enjoy being part of a household.
